I have been with CNCO already many years, since 2003, from 3rd engineer to 2nd engineer, it is not the position changed, it is means that I have changed a lot. On the first joining ship, there was a new world for me, working with people who were from different countries, speaking English, not like to work on board Chinese ship, so I must adjust myself to fit the situation I choose. Luckily, chief engineer, and the other officers were very kindly to help me, we working together, co-operate friendly. Especially, I have CNCO’s SMS for guidance, so, that is the correct way to deal with my things: job, action in social life. We respect each other, we enjoy together.
I like to work for CNCO, one more reason is that it has a good and responsible leader team, also the same good management on board. It has good safety culture all around the fleet, whenever and wherever I feeling I am safe. As 2nd engineer, I should have the responsibility to deploy SMS everywhere on board ship, which affect safe.
